Tracked 24 & 48
Tracked 24 is a premium service offered by Royal Mail that provides customers with end-to-end tracking and delivery confirmation for items that weigh up to 30kg. The service aims to deliver the item within 1 day after it has been dispatched, but this is not a guaranteed service. Tracked 24 items will also be signed for upon delivery.
Tracked 48 is a similar service that provides customers with end-to-end tracking and delivery confirmation for items that weigh up to 30kg. The service aims to deliver the item within 2 days after it has been dispatched, but this is also not a guaranteed service. Tracked 48 items will also be signed for upon delivery.
In terms of packaging requirements, Royal Mail requires that Tracked 24 and 48 items are packaged securely and appropriately to ensure that the item arrives at its destination in good condition. The packaging should be strong enough to withstand normal handling during transit and should be marked with the appropriate postage and address details.
